When sisters are there for each and cheer each other on, it is one of life’s sweet moments.
When one is happy for the other’s achievement, you know that the love between them is genuine. This is a story of Maya and Abby, two sisters who have each other’s back.
Abby is a therapy dog, who has always been proud of Maya, her human sister, whatever she does in life. What makes this bond special is that Abby was still there to look after Maya. She is Maya’s shadow and would always make sure that Maya stays safe.
Maya, the little girl has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy at a very young age which means that Maya is unable to walk on her own without a lot of effort, practice, and therapy. Abby would always walk with Maya every single day, and those walkes help to make Maya stronger and better.
In any activity that involves Maya, Abby would always be behind her. It would seem like a safety precaution. When she made her first step, Abby was the proudest sister.
When Maya was diagnosed, the family brought Abby to be trained as a therapy dog which was fitting for the circumstances at hand.
With the training and their bond, Abby understands her sister very well. It might have something to do with the fact that Abby was born different too.
She was born without her right paws, but that never stopped her. Wherever Maya is, you can be sure that Abby is lying down next to her. These two beautiful souls that were born different have found comfort in each other. Therapy dogs and humans sometimes became more than just friends. In this case they are truly sisters!
Their bond is so strong that Maya trusts her dog sister with her life. And vica versa, Abby feels the same way. It is so heartwarming to see two sisters cheering each other on through life’s journey, challenges and achievements. They are there for each other, whenever one needs help, encouragement and love! Their bond is the kind of relationship that people should look up to and strive for.
